This 20,000 square foot building opened in 2011 as Sanford Health’s premier athletic training facility in Fargo. A Teflon-coated PVC membrane envelope over an aluminum frame houses an artificial turf area for football training, wood floor for basketball, locker rooms, a multiple lane track area for running, extensive weight training equipment, and an area designated for hockey training with artificial ice and a skating treadmill. In-house athletic trainers and physical therapists are on hand to assist rehabilitation as the facility houses treatment rooms, a therapy room, and a lobby/gathering area for building users to relax and socialize.
