PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Zerr Berg Architects provided master planning services for the Moorhead Area Public School District starting in 2001. The results of that effort included a successful $54 million referendum which resulted in a new middle school, new elementary school, high school addition, remodeling for elementary school conversions, closing / sale of three existing elementary schools, and the demolition of one other. One elementary school was converted to a preschool center and central district office. All of this work was completed by 2001.

The above district wide facility improvement plan resulted in growth in student populations throughout the district. ZBA has continued to service MPS in continued planning to accommodate additional students.

The 11,472 SF addition / remodel for Robert Asp Elementary school include one Kindergarten classroom, gymnasium, P.E. office and storage area, and relocated and enhanced playground.
