PROJECT DESCRIPTION
The Urban Plains Center is a new 5,000 seat hockey arena located in southwest Fargo on 15 acres of land. The UP Center is home to the new USHL hockey team the Fargo Force, Fargo high school hockey, the 2009 IIHF World U18 Championship, and many other special events. The arena has 5,000 seats, 36 luxury suites, 1,000 bleachers seats, 300+ club seats, and 3,000 reserved bowl seats. The main lobby is spacious, with a stage for live music and a fireplace. There are scoreboards and video boards on both ends of the arena flanked by ads, and a video ribbon for advertisers circling most of the bowl area. Five concession areas each feature different foods. There are five clusters of bathrooms and one family-style bathroom. The 36 luxury suites hold 14 to 23 people and are outfitted with a 32-inch flat screen television and two refrigerators.
