The Knollbrook Covenant Church
and education wing, built in the late
1950s, was constructed using a split-level
plan which presented several accessibility
issues. In 2003, the church began a major
renovation and expansion project which
corrected these problems by providing an
interior ramp and elevator to the sanctuary
and basement levels. The project also featured
new and accessible toilet rooms on the
main level and a large new multi-purpose
addition which can be subdivided into four
classroooms. Additionally, the church was “opened
up” to take full advantage of its prominent location along Broadway
in North Fargo. Large windows allow passers-by
to see into the building and witness
this active and vital congregation. |
